HEALTH HAZARD DATA PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Eye and skin contact. CARCINOGEN INFORMATION: Contains no listed carcinogens. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY OVEREXPOSURE: Pre-existing skin and eye disorders may be aggravated by EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:Acute: Concentrate eye contact may cause moderate eye irritation. Ready-to-use solution
contact with eyes and skin may result in irritation. Ingestion may result in gastric disturbances. Chronic: None anticipated. EYE CONTACT: Concentrate contact may cause moderate eye irritation. Ready-to-use dilution contact may irritate eyes,
producing redness and swelling of the conjunctiva.
SKIN CONTACT: This product may cause skin irritation and drying of skin with prolonged contact. INHALATION: Mists or vapors may be irritating to upper respiratory tract, although this is not expected to be a relevant route of INGESTION: May cause nausea and vomiting, as well as other gastric disturbances. Not expected to be a relevant route of EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES: EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush exposed area with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. SKIN CONTACT: Immediately flush exposed area with clean water to remove all residues. If irritation persists, get medical
attention. Remove contaminated clothing. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention. INGESTION: Do not give liquids if victim is unconscious or very drowsy. Otherwise, give no more than 2 glasses of water and
induce vomiting by giving 30 cc (2 Tablespoons) syrup of Ipecac.* If Ipecac is unavailable, give two glasses of water and induce vomiting by touching finger to the back of the victim’s throat. Keep victim’s head below hips while vomiting. Get medical attention.
* If victim is a child, give no more than one glass of water and 15 cc (1 Tablespoon) syrup of Ipecac. If symptoms such as loss of gag reflex, convulsions or unconsciousness occur before emesis, gastric lavage should be considered following intubation with a cuffed endotracheal tube. VI REACTIVITY DATA STABILITY: Stable. CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Extreme heat. INCOMPATIBILITY (MATERIALS TO AVOID): Strong acids and strong oxidizing agents. eye contact. Dike area to contain spilled material and use inert absorbent or a wet-vac to pick up material for disposal.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHODS: This product is readily biodegradable in sewage treatment processes. Based on Federal EPA
solid waste definitions and waste water pretreatment guidelines, rinse water generated during the use of this material can be disposed of to sanitary sewer. The product as supplied is not classified as a hazardous waste under federal regulations. Consult appropriate federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to ascertain proper disposal procedures.
VIII SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: None necessary using common application methods. VENTILATION: No special ventilation required. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Wear protective clothing as necessary to minimize contact. PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Wear impermeable gloves when handling concentrate and as needed to avoid prolonged contact to ready-to- EYE PROTECTION: Wear eye protection appropriate to eliminate splash hazards to eyes and suitable for jobsite dilution and OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Eyewash should be accessible from work area. Provide fresh water for body rinsing. IX SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS WORK PRACTICES: Proper work practices and planning should be utilized to avoid contact with workers, passersby, and non-target
surfaces. Do not atomize during application. See the Product Data sheet and label for precautions to be taken during use.
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORAGE: Wear appropriate safety equipment and clothing. Do not get in
eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not take internally. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
Never touch eyes or face with hands or gloves that may be contaminated with this product.
Keep containers closed when not dispensing product. Use care around spilled material because it will be slippery.
