Aims: Based on the background of the causes of cardiovascular disease in OSA and COPD, contemporary strategies
for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease will be presented. The challenge on how to integrate this
knowledge into the treatment of patients with COPD and OSA in clinical routine will be addressed.
