Exelon Energy will begin by forecasting a customer’s load shape based on historical usage. this allows the customer to take advantage of the day-ahead index market for forecasted usage and the balance of their actual energy consumption will settle at the real-time index. customers can also choose to purchase fixed-price energy quantities in order to manage volatility.
